How can I find the centroid of a bounded region in an image?

I am working with the "Object Detection in a Cluttered Scene Using Point Feature Matching" example and would like to find the centroid of the polygon that is created when the object is detected. So far I have tried using the vision.BlobAnalysis System from the Computer Vision System Toolbox. Does anyone have any suggestions?
