Re-obtain original audio file

Hi all, here's my problem: I send an audio file from my android app through tcp socket to Matlab.It reads all the byte with tcpip. The problem is that my andoird app send file in raw byte, and I need the original audio file in Matlab in order to do some operation (like FFT). How can I regenerate the original audio file? For the recording I use a sampling rate of 44100 Hz and a bitRate of 16.
