CAN-Communication / Packing long signals

Hi,
I use Matlab 2008a to get and send some Can-messages in a vehicle(Gateway-Function). In 2008a is a packege for CAN-Communication (Target Support Packege FM5). I have to unpack the message and manipulate some signals. However I use this packege but some of the signals are too long, so I get the error message "The CANbd Packing block only supports signals up to 32 bits long".
My question is: "Has the vehicle network toolbox (Matlab 2009b) the opportunityto pack signals with more than 32 bits? Or exists an other posibility to pack this signals, maybe to split them?"
