PID tuning of non linear system

I was trying to tune pid but system is non linear and while tuning its giving strange results. Are there any useful documentation or links for this???
or if there is any method for tuning non linear systems using pid tunner app???

Probably there are discontinuities in your Nonlinear system.
Can you show the mathematical model of Nonlinear system? Not Block Diagram.
