Fundamental system is
y1(x)=exp(4/3*x)
y2(x)=x*exp(4/3*x)
For a solution in MATLAB: help dsolve
Best wishes

The general solution is given by
y(t)=a*exp(4/3*t) + b*t*exp(4/3*t)
where a and b are constants to be determined from the boundary conditions.
Code:
syms y(t)
S=dsolve(9*diff(y,2)-24*diff(y)+16*y==0);
Best wishes
Torsten.

Torsten, in MATLAB Answers we don't do homework for people who simply ask us to do it for them and don't show any sign of having attempted it. See the link I provide at the top of this page.
