I counldn’t find a database, although I’m certain one exists, so I did the next best thing and brought you this article: ‘Staging and prognosis of cutaneous melanoma.’. It’s free, too!

There is a great dataset of over 12000 images of benign/melanoma images at the ISIC Archive https://isic-archive.com/#images You can read more a about it here https://isic-archive.com/
notice that currently there are 2 ways to download the data: one via a direct download of 40GB which might not successfully complete because of some reasons i don't fully understand and you can download them one by one using the Grider api they have offered. Because of these 2 sort of problematic ways i wrote a script to download entire dataset successfully to your computer. if you are interested in the script let me know :)

Why not make it convenient for people and attach it here with the paper clip icon instead of having to go to a third party (Microsoft) web site?

I'm upgrading the script overtime. Additionaly over time people proposed features which were very useful for others as well (like enable downloading the segmentations as well). So i'd like people to be able to gain access to the in-development script, plus the ability to offer feature requests or report on issues.
For convenience i'll upload the current version of the script here as you requested :)

Hello,
It might be late for you but I just found dermofit. It is the best I have come across.
