how to find Spatial Wave Length[or Spatial Frequency] for this image.

can any one please give me idea for finding spatial wave length for this image.image shown here

i heard that i need to find the spatial frequency from that by doing 1/spatial freq--> we can get spatial wave length.
if this procedure is right, can any one help me for finding spatial frequency of that image.

Perhaps you can get in contact with Joseph. http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/18447-extracting-frequency-components-of-line-in-a-image He has been working on this same issue for quite some time, despite several of us telling him that Fourier analysis of that line is not the right avenue to go down. But what do we know?
