Is possible to save output video file on local folder or server?

Hi All, I want know about the output video or image file save as local folder working on HOST PC or save as server for cloud storage.I deteail explain i run raspberry pi with matlab to video surveillance, i saw output from SDL video display.so i ask question about storage for Post processing.
