How to save code on Arduino so USB connection isn't needed

1 view (last 30 days)
I've literally been searching for hours with no luck. I have a MAC OS X 10.10.2 and Matlab 2014a Student Version.
I simply want to save my code on my arduino (well . . . my redboard) so I can run my program without having to plug the board into my computer. Basically, how can I make my program battery powered and as a standalone thing?
I don't want to have to connect my board to my laptop every time I want to run code is the main thing.
