In the old "liftwave" function, you can create a Le Gall 5/3 Wavelet lifting scheme that is integer based using "liftscheme = liftwave('cdf2.2','int2int');" but as liftwave if deprecated I want to know how to create the same scheme with liftscheme function. I could not find any documentation on integer transforms with liftscheme, any ideas?

Hi Dylan,
Thanks for reaching out.
You can create the lifiting scheme using the following command:
liftscheme = liftingScheme(Wavelet='cdf2.2');
You can then use the lifting transform:
[ca,cd] = lwt(x,LiftingScheme=liftscheme,Int2Int=true);
or use the following
[ca,cd] = lwt(x,Wavelet='cdf2.2',Int2Int=true);
I hope it helps.
Thanks
Sharmin
