Editor in Separate Window Losing Cursor When Foreground Window is Cycled to Command Window on Mac Yosemite

5 views (last 30 days)
I keep the matlab editor in a separate window when working and whenever there is a change to the command window for the purposes of either typing in the command window or the script ends due to an error and the top window is changed back to the editor, the cursor disappears. It will not reappear upon trying to click within the editor. This translates to an inability to type, doing actions such as copy/paste, and others. Currently the only work around I have found is to switch back to the command window and just type for a bit and switch back to the editor window to see if the cursor has reappeared. This is taking place on a Late 2013 Macbook Pro 13.3 i5 running on Yosemite using 2014a.
