How to import an .atc file into MATLAB and convert it into .csv

First of all, I want to know how to import a .atc file into MATLAB. I have a mac and am currently using the app File Viewer to show this .atc file as a hexadecimal or ACSii.
I have tried to import the hexadecimal data into MATLAB, but I am having trouble.The overall goal is to somehow get this .atc data into MATLAB and convert it into .csv format.
