Why do I get a 'Failed to load nativejmi: Unsatisfied link' error when starting MATLAB?

When opening MATLAB, I receive an error that says "Failed to load nativejmi: Unsatisfied link" and MATLAB never opens.

This issue is likely occurring because your Avast Anti-Virus is quarantining necessary nativejmi files that MATLAB needs to run properly. 
To resolve this issue, you will need to navigate to the quarantined section of your AntiVirus and restore the file, as well as remove it from any restricted list your AntiVirus has put it on.
