Getting data from "Deploy to hardware" in Simulink and Lego EV3

I am running my simulink model on LEGO EV3 in "external mode", the problem is that it overrun always and I cannot increase the sample time or simplify the model. So the solution would be to deploy to hardware. The problem is that I need to be able to get the data from the sensors (encoder and gyroscope) to compare (plot) with my theoretical results and write a report. If I deploy to hardware "To workspace" or "scope" do not work. Any idea of how to get this data? It does not need to be in real time. I was think in a way to make the EV3 brick to give some log file with this data, but could not solve it yet.
