Matlab command to compute ridge count, valley count, white line count from fingrprint image

I am currently working on the topic " Human Gender Classification based on fingerprint image using SVM ". I am supposed to calculate the ridge count, valley count, white line count from the fingerprint image .

Please suggest some solutions related to the topic using Matlab .

I have never heard before that you can tell the sex of the person based on their fingerprint, but whatever...

There is no such functionality built into MATLAB or any of its toolboxes. You'll have to build it based on lower level functions.

You can try a web search engine to find sites that mention MATLAB and fingerprint, and find sites like this.
