I'm having the same issue. This Walter Roberson guy will refer you to the same thread every time, only to see everybody has the same issue with his advice. Heather Parks If you don't see the Advanced Settings button it means you're not an administrator for your license. You probably should contact your school or company's IT department as they're probably the administrator or know who is.

If you purchased the software yourself check for the email MathWorks sent you for the instructions and information you'll need to install, or you could contact MathWorks support using the telephone icon in the upper right corner of this page.

End users who are not allowed to perform keyless activations must contact their license administrators to obtain a File Installation Key. End users must also contact license administrators to obtain the Activation Key regardless of their permissions. I want to distribute or retrieve the Activation Key for my license so that licensed end users can link to my license and activate MATLAB. I would also like to distribute or retrieve the File Installation Key to install MATLAB without using

What kind of license do you have? Are you the administrator of a shared/pooled collection of licenses that any number of user can use to "check out" MATLAB and whatever toolboxes they need? Are you the admin for MATLAB that covers your entire university? In any event, it's best that you just simply call Mathworks sales and get the answer directly from them since they will know everything about your license (unlike anyone here).

If you're trying to use your company or educational institution's license, ask whoever maintains the organization's software licenses (probably someone in the IT department) for the instructions and information you need to access MATLAB and other MathWorks products.

If you've purchased your own license, you should have received an email from MathWorks with the instructions and information you need to access MATLAB and other MathWorks products. If you did not receive that email (check your spam folder) or if you have deleted it, please contact Customer Service using the Contact Support link at the end of this page.
