Hybrid EV model: simscape solver fails to converge in R2011a

I have modeled a Hybrid EV as given in the inbuilt model in matlab 15 by the name of hybrid vehicle electrical network. However I have modeled it in matlab 2011 but the simscape solver configuration block always shows the error: "Steady state conditions solve failed to converge, dynamic initial states not able to converge". When I used matlab 2015 and then opened the model made in 2011, the model ran but without the DC-DC converter block and the o/p was not the one that was expected. On adding the DC-DC converter block, the error message as above was repeated but not instantaneously but after a time delay.
