hello, i just downloaded matlab2015a from the server of my university, but it can’t be installed because the icon “InstallForMacOSX” can’t be open, this icon is grey, when i double click on this icon, it says “You can’t open the application ‘InstallForMacOSX’because it is not supported on this type of Mac”.(as it is showed in picture). My operating system version is “Yosemite10.10.3”.

I've tried this a few days ago,it does not work because no updates exsist. that is for whom already installed matlab and update system to yosemite. not for those who have the problem at the beginning.

The you should contact MATLAB Tech Support by telephone. This needs to be resolved by TMW/MATLAB, not by random people on the internet. Please read Image Analyst's answer on the second link that I gave.
