does getframe output depends on the monitor gamma value?

I want to know if the output of getframe is dependent on the graphic card and possibly monitor used.

No it is not. getframe() asks the graphics system for the current graphics buffer, which is purely digital data before any hardware gamma. It is probably before any software gamma the graphics card might apply as well, but I am not positive about that.
