Exponential Surface Modelling Formula

I am a Cinema 4D user and I 'm trying to model a parametric conical surface. The following formula:
Sin((u+t)*2.0*PI)*0.2
produces a surface which look like this:
How can I transform this formula in order to get a surface which looks like this; with a exponential profile:
