Hi to all, I have trouble running into the command window the example.m file found in http://www.avasquez.info/home/code , about Approximating American Option Prices in the GARCH Framework. The third r1.dll file is required in order to proceed but I cant open it. I have tried the command loadlibrary but didn't help. The selection of a C compiler might be the case but don't know which one is appropriate . Apologise for asking silly questions..Thanks..

Look in the documentation for a list of compatible compilers. It depends on the Matlab version you are using.

Thanks for your immediate response but still didn't manage to run the example.m file. A header file is needed in order to proceed but how do I create one(if there is such a possibility)?

Dear tsitas tiga, please explain the problem with any details. "loadlibrary didn't help" does not allow to find a meaningful solution. You need an appropriate compiler - is this problem solved now? "A header file is needed" is not clear also.
