Can I convert a .dll file to a .mex32 extension?

Hi,

I have an S-function that was written for an old version of MATLAB. Unfortunately, the S-function is a .dll extension and I do not have access to the source code. Is there any way to convert a .dll S-function to a .mex32? Thank you.

Hi Walter,

I've tried renaming it but unfortunately it did not work. It kept giving me an error stating that the s-function was not found even though it was in the directory.
