Hello,
I am running a GA, which has 48 variables, that can take on 729 different values. Chosing a value is done by a weighted function, which results in a probability of the worst choice of ~ 6e^-4. I ran several tests, in which a population size of 10000 does not guarantee better results than a population of 1000 ( One time it was even worse). This is because the low probability of improvement, therefore it will get stuck in local minima. I would like to disable the StallTest and just run the algorithm for a day, however i cannot find this option in the documentation. Is it possible to do this?
With kind regards,
Paul

Nevermind, I found it already. I did not specify the 'StallGen' option, therefore it took the default of 50 generations. When I set it to inf, it works as intended :)
