Solver changes (related to the Jacobian calculation?) in 2015a vs. 2015b

Has anyone noticed any difference in the way MATLAB calculates the Jacobian between 2015a and 2015b? I'm solving a complex (~550) ODE system using ode15s and am seeing a significantly slower first step in 2015b than I was seeing in 2015a.
I'm attributing it to the Jacobian calculation since that's the most intensive calculation before the solving starts, but I could be wrong there too.
