PARALLEL INTERFACING

Hi everyone can anyone help me on how to control a motor from the parallel port using speech recognition? for speech recognition I am using the mel frequency and vector quantization but the problem is that i cant use the speech recognition to control a motor through the parallel port. can anyone be of help?

What part are you stuck on? Do you have it down to a definite value you want to transmit through the parallel port but you aren't sure how to do the transmission? Is it a pure data value or are you needing to manipulate individual lines on the port such as trying to use one of the parallel lines held high or low for extended times to signal something?
