How to Import the m script file where data is read from XML file and store in a structure format

.. I have one XML file .. and i am importing that XML file using m script the output of m script will give me a proper structure where... voltage.current will be stored in structure format...

there are nested function file in the m script

Now i want to model this m script file using matlab function(embedded) ..

should i split the function seperatly for voltage, current, inductance structure

Does the matlab function will provide output in structure format

Please help me out to understand the matlab function block proerly ..
