The model I am trying to build has a S-function and I have access to the s-function.c file. The source file has a function call with the same name(<s-function> name)in the mdloutputs. Whenever I try building the model it gives the error "undefined reference to `ApplyFILT_1stOrderLag_flt'". The directory also have the rtwmakecfg.m and all the libraray referenced.
how does a sfunction C file with a function call work?.

Could you show us how you define your rtwmakecfg.m? Also, turn on "Verbose build" from the Code Generation>Debug pane in the Configuration Parameters window and check the build log to see if your libraries are being linked in correctly.

I did fix the issue, wrote an algorithm for the filter and compiled using mex function.
Thanks Kaustubha for the help
