hello , i want to export a cad model from solidworks to matlab. i followed the instructions by going to options>>Add-in and checked the Simmechanics box on both sides, but the Simmechanics button does not appear. And even when i try to save the file as Simmechanics XML, the option is not there, please help.

type the following in matlab help menu and follow the procedure as given at this help topic.
"Install and Register SimMechanics Link Software"
did you downloaded linking software compatible to your solid work version. please verify it.
