How to run matlab 7 for 32 bit in a 64 bit windows system?

5 views (last 30 days)
Whenever i start the matlab icon, i get the following error: Runtime Error Program:C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB7\bin\win32\MATLAB.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team fro more information.
Also, behind that it shows a "error starting desktop" window with lots of java issues listed.
How do i resolve this issue?

You know that MATLAB7, also known as R14, is a decade old?
Which operating system are you trying to run it on? Some of those old versions need patches to work on newer operating systems.

MS Windows has supported x64 architectures since Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition of 2005. Are you using Windows Server, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10?
