Camera randomly stopped being detected

A few days ago, I had my camera connected to my laptop using the winvideo adapter. Last night, I upgraded my laptop from windows 8.1 to windows 10, and the camera has ceased to be detected (as has the built in webcam). However, my desktop running windows 10 has no issues, so I don't believe it's an OS issue.
I have tried unplugging and replugging the camera, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the adapter but none of that has worked.

Contact MathWorks Tech Support if you have R2015a.
MATLAB versions earlier that R2015a are not supported on Windows 10, from what I’ve read here on MATLAB Answers.
