how to classify images files using MATLAB image processing toolbox or svm?

I have 16 matrices of 110*110 (110 rows and 110 columns), each matrix is an image. I have to classify these images in 2 classes, but i dont know how to do feature extraction or feature selection and also how to consider one matrix as a one data at the time of classification?

Post one image from each class and tell us what the classes are. What distinguishes an image from class 1 from an image in class 2. For example, does class 1 have images of babies in it and class 2 has images of trees? Your question is too general to answer otherwise.
