How Predictive Clustering Tree work

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am new to matlab and I would like to know on how predictive clustering tree for visual codebook is working. I done visual codebook creation using K-mean clustering technique but it take longer time to do the iteration. How to create the predictive rules to create leaf nodes?
