How can I create a simple two antenna Tx/Rx chain in Time Domain with Propagation delay, antenna bandwidth, and polarization effects?

I'm effectively trying to model a radar scatter problem where I'm using a simple antenna to bounce a signal off another antenna and measure the antenna-mode scatter (that's the signal that's retransmitted back towards the radar transmitting antenna from the receive antenna) off the antenna load (either a matched termination or an open/short/etc). I need the analysis in Time Domain because the time delay is critical for the research. Is there a simple method to do this in Matlab? Preferably one that will allow me to easily flip out antenna models and account for propagation distances, orientation, bandwidth and signal polarity? I was trying to mess around with antenna toolkit but that's focused on analyzing a single antenna or the characteristics of an antenna array and I'm not really interested in the E-Fields, but the practical received signal voltage and phase vs transmitted signal. Thanks!

Hi Mathew,
Maybe you want to take a look at Phased Array System Toolbox and see if it can address some of your needs.
