How to plot a single point depending on three variables in a 2d figure?

3 views (last 30 days)
I would like plot a single point associated to three values of three variables. I would assign each variable to a 2D plot having axes: x (bottom) "first variable", y1 (left side) "second variable" and y2 (right side) "third variable".
The result should be just a single point in a 2D figure having one x axis and two y axes with well suited scales to display the right value for the point.
How can I do this figure with Matlab?
Thank you very much!

Hi Aurelien,
I have used plotyy before but it seems to not be able to assign the right scale to the second y axis.
e.g.
y1=2x
y2=x^2
x=3
If I use plotyy with those variable I find TWO points in the figure: one for (x=3,y1=6) and one for (x=3,y2=9). I want to see just one point (x=3) having y1=6 and y2=9 coincident coordinates.
How can I do this with plotyy?
Thanks.
