In MATLAB 15A, plots with a log scale on the x-axis have extra tick marks.

The question is, how can I get rid of the extra tick marks? The attached files (FIG and PNG) show the extra ticks in the x-axis. These ticks disappear if the figure is opened in earlier versions of MATLAB (e.g. 14A).
