color cells/columns in an uitable

Hello, I would like to color specific cells/columns in an uitable. Some of the cells are editable, so I can't use html (otherwise I see the entire html code when I click in the cell). I have also some dropdowns in the table, so the property "Columnformat" is not empty. Therefore I think I can't use cell renderers in java. So, how can I solve this problem?
