Simscape users in the Berlin area

Hi,
I have lots of experience with Matlab, Matlab/Simulink and Modelica. Now I would like to get to know Simscape better. The problem is that always when I try doing something in it I encounter problems and cannot get the models to work. The next teaching course in Germany is in June, so pretty far away. I was wondering if there are people close to Berlin who work with Simscape and might be able (and willing) to help me get started. I don't have trouble using the library, I would like to learn more on how to build totally new models in Simscape, I always seem to do something wrong and need somebody who can give me a push in the right direction.
Any help and advice would be appreciated :-)

It would be nice if Matlab Central included information about local user groups for Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, etc. (including how to form such a group.) Or maybe this info already exists somewhere?

I am sure the vast majority of local user groups are closed groups of a company or university. The MathWorks Account Manager should now about those and you can contact him.

Not an alternative, but an addtion, there are multiple webinars in German language available. I think "Physikalische Modellierung von Mehrdomänen-Systemen mit der Simscape Language" could be a good fit.

In addition, additional resources include:
- various example on MATLAB Central,
- short video demos on the Simscape web page,
- product documentation.
- white paper entitled "Modeling Physical Systems as Physical Networks Using Simscape" on the Simscape technical literature page.
HTH,
Arnaud
