You could try a modified median filter to do salt and pepper removal. See attached demo.

Voranijtha, here's a grayscale one also. Forgot to attach it the first time. The other one is for color images. Have you tried it? I didn't hear back from you, and you didn't accept my answer. Is your question answered yet? Or do you still need help?
