closed loop variable in Embedded matlab function

I used a variable in all my embedded matlab program which is actually a dynamic variable. (rotor position in switched reluctance motor). My motor torque always remains zero even though no error in the simulink. How to achieve closed loop variable be updated inside the embedded matlab program????

Do you mean, you are using a variable in more than one 'Embedded Matlab Block' in a model?
What do you mean by "closed loop variable"
