How to improve quality of captured Image

When I am using other software to capture image the results are very fine. But when I use MATLAB for the same purpose the captured image is too dark. How I can rectify this problem.

You need to increase the exposure time. Use imaqtool and see what things you can do in there to set various settings on your camera.
