Use big data in Matlab

I have data more than 1million in excel, because excel can't open all data, i try use Matlab using import data. But, the data can't import totaly. Why and how to solve this problem?. Whether Matlab have limit to generate data?

Clarify what you mean by "the data can't import totaly" -- how are you importing and what happens when you try to import?
