Automatically import multiple data files

Hi ! My problem is that I have a long list of files such as: FILE00001.CSV; FILE00002.CSV; ... FILE00999.CSV

And I want to automatically import it to MATLAB, previously specified the desired folder. It is clear how to import single file using importdata, but with this number of files I need only to specify the folder (this is important!), number of files and name of the data files in MATLAB.

Is it possible? Do you have any ideas?
