How to use different units for position and outerPosition?

Is it possible to set outerposition with normalized units, but position with other units (pixels or inches)?

You can set the units to 'normalized' at first and define the OuterPosition. Afterwards you can set the units to another value. This does not affect the dimensions of the figure. But if you request the OuterPosition afterwards, it is replied in the new units.

You cannot define the OuterPosition and the Position independently. Therefore I do not see a reason to define the units differently. But changing the units can be useful, e.g. to create a full screen figure at first, but define the elements of a GUI according to the dimensions in centimeters, such that buttons have an equivalent optical size on different monitor sizes and resolutions.
