I have installed R2013a program on the windows 10 surface pro 2 and it did not read the files (however on another computer it could read the files so the code is correct). I tried to uninstall the program after and it would not fully remove it. Could you give me instructions to properly remove it and add it so that MATLAB can read my files on my surface. Thank you

I would expect difficulties getting R2013a to work with Windows 10. In particular you will likely not be able to use mex or anything that requires compiling.
