why did I clicked the matlab icon on the destop and there is no ui poping out, while I can only run matlab command through python matlab engine...

just like what I said in the title of the question... the matlab is of version '8.5.0.197613 (R2015a)'which runs on win7 32. when I clicked the icon ,a black window popped out for a few second and then disappears.I checked the background then and found matlab still running..
someone got the same problem????
