playTone Function undefined in matlab

Can someone help me with this. My playTone function was undefined and when I enter the command methods() playTone was not included. What should I do with this?

Why do you think you should have a function with that name? I don't. Do you know it to be part of some certain toolbox? Was it supposed to be supplied from your friend or coworker, or with something you got from the File Exchange? Why do you need it? Included in what? What did you get that you think this should have come with???

i think he is referring this playTone() , same happnd to me,i installed the package but there aint any pyTone functions.is there any way to play a buzzer by arduino?

this function is available only in matlab support package for arduino... other third party arduino support packages for matlab doesn't include this. https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/47522-matlab-support-package-for-arduino-hardware

well then sorry about that.however as i know this function is only available since matlab r2014b and onwards.Just check that too.if ur matlab version is something before r2014b,even if u installed the support package,this function would not work...
