A cancel button, to do nothing

2 views (last 30 days)
I have a gui(called main) through which I open another gui(called config). When I press ok button in the config gui, it performs and operation and the result is updated on the main gui. I want to add a cancel button in my config gui, so that when I press cancel, it should do nothing at all and close the gui.

In the call back for that button, just delete the variable that is the handle to the gui and it will vanish.

It closes the gui and does nothing but I get an error in the command window.
Attempt to reference field of non-structure array.
Error in config_window>config_window_OutputFcn (line 90)
varargout{1} = handles.output;

You never assigned that variable. But you don't need it. Just delete the line.
