Trying to match version numbers of Matlab + Simulink with actual name of software that appears on our invoice; list of versions found in workstations follows; some users have more than one versions operable on their workstation. From our (IT) point of view of support and documentation, we are after ways of connecting "actual name of software" with "version numbers" as in list below; what specific software (or more than one?) works within which version?
What we have:
Product Name Company Name Product Version
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 6.0.0.180601
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 7.13.0.291
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 7.3.0.267
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.0.0.591
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.1.0.430
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.1.0.470
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.2.0.348
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.2.0.627
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.4.0.133981
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.4.0.138790
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.5.0.184244
Looking forward to some assistance.

Bruno, I answered your question with a list of release names such as R12 and R2014a. Is that not what you were looking for?
The invoices you show do not appear to have any version information in them, and each case list the English name for the accompanying code, such as listing "Control System Toolbox Maintenance" beside the code "(SUBCT)".
If the information such as R2014a that I posted is not what you are looking for, then please extract one relevant line from the invoice for your question and point out the exact part of it you would like converted.
Maintenance services are not tied to particular versions. Maintenance services provide update rights, and rights to place technical support questions against the license. If you had a reason to keep a particular license at R2013b (for example) then the maintenance service would still allow you to place questions about that release -- but it would also allow you to update to the then-current release at any time (or any release in-between.)
The license numbers are the way to track assets to which systems you have them installed on, or which users have been given access to them. They provide you with a way to track historical information through your records such as what the release was when you first purchased the particular license. In the case of licenses which you have discontinued maintenance on, your technical contact or asset administrator can use the License Center to determine when the maintenance expired (and thus track what the latest version you would be permitted to upgrade to would be.)

The last portion is the "Build Number". The second last portion is used for Service Packs. The important part for naming purposes is the first two elements.
If you need more details about MCR or Simulink version numbers, you can find a partial version list at http://matlab.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#What_are_the_versions_of_MATLAB_and_associated_runtime_files.3F

Product Company Name Product Version Release Name
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 6.0.0.180601 R12
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 7.13.0.291 R2011b
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 7.3.0.267 R2006b
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.0.0.591 R2012b
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.1.0.430 R2013a (32 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.1.0.470 R2013a (64 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.2.0.348 R2013b (32 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.2.0.627 R2013b (64 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.4.0.133981 R2014b (32 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.4.0.138790 R2014b (64 bit?)
MATLAB The MathWorks Inc. 8.5.0.184244 R2015a
In the cases where there are two different builds for the same release, such as 8.1.0.430 vs 8.1.0.470, it is not clear what the differences are. I find the .430 to be more associated with Student Version images, but I also see it associated with 32 bit images. It could even just be minor bug fixes. In each case I have verified the full number against the R_ version name that I list, but the part in () is speculation about the differences in number.
Other than the checking about the build numbers, this information is all extracted from the link I posted earlier (which in turn I had earlier verified through multiple sources, some of which I named in that link.)

As Andreas flagged, please don't post invoices to MATLAB Answers.
But if you want a mapping between the version number of MATLAB and the release with which it is associated, the Release History section of the Wikipedia page for MATLAB contains a table that lists release numbers, version numbers, release dates, and a bit more information. You can ignore the fourth number in the version number under most circumstances, and you can ignore the third number if it's 0.
So for example version 7.13.0 of MATLAB (from the first column in that table) was included with release R2011b (from the second column) of our products in September 2011 (column six.) Other products included in release R2011b will have different version numbers, but they're all part of the same release and have been tested to work together.
