Missing text file due to packaging my GUI.

Hi,
In GUI environment, my program creates a text file including solution data. The text file will be saved in the directory that the user specifies at the very first. The program works perfectly but when I make a standalone application this text file won't be created any more.
Do you have any idea why is this happening?

How are you constructing the output file name? How are you doing the saving of the file?
