audioread with FLAC file on linux : file type not supported error

Please tell me why I get the following error message when I am calling "audioread" function with FLAC file on my linux cluster I use Matlab R2015b version.

Error using audioread (line 88) The file type is not supported

Error in ComputeFeature (line 6) [yy] = audioread(AudFile,[N1 N2]);

To cross-check: does the file name end with '.flac' ? It might be case sensitive.
